SciVisum Releases KPI Tracking

As eCommerce and other online activities become increasingly business critical, KPIs relating all aspects of performance in these areas are becoming a standard part of staff and departmental performance evaluation, our latest release allows these thresholds to be plugged directly into the SciVisum Portal so that status can be seen at a glance.

These KPIs may be of the traditional technical/infrastructure/operations nature, they may be more customer/brand experience focussed, they may be directly related to sales, revenue, leads and bottomline business performance or they they may take the form of SLAs with the 3rd parties.

KPI thresholds can be set at the level of the user journey for:

● Delivery Time
● Lost Sales
● Availability

The web is such a critical part of most businesses that many people need to see if targets are being met. With so many stakeholders from different departments needing to discuss performance in a meaningful way it is vitally important that they are able to use a common language to do so.

The values for each metric are painted red or green to show if they have breached the thresholds as set by the customer. The data is also shown in this format in emailed reports, enabling non-technical people to intuitively understand the current performance status.

For non technical staff who do not use the portal on a daily basis the KPI tracking provides an at-a-glance record of whether everything is on target and can be sent by email report at a frequency chosen by the user. Already having this information makes it easier for business staff to contact the relevent technical expert to reasons.

This is not only a matter of showing live data on the dashboard, but being able to veiw performance against KPIs for different time periods helps with long term trend analysis and capacity planning
